Interior Surface Upgrade
While every PoolTech pool includes a premium Diamond brite quartz finish – smooth, durable, and available in a range of elegant colors. For clients who want to elevate both the look and the feel of the water, we offer the following surface upgrade options:
- PebbleTec / PebbleSheen
A natural pebble blend that offers exceptional durability and a textured, lagoon-like appearance. Ideal for clients seeking a more organic, high-end aesthetic.
Upgrade Cost: An Additional $10 – $14 per sq ft
- Glass Bead Finishes
Tiny polished glass beads that add shimmer and brilliance, reflecting light to create a dynamic, sparkling effect across the entire pool interior.
Upgrade Cost: An Additional $16 – $20 per sq ft
Full Interior Tiling
For client seeking the highest level of refinement, a fully tiled interior offers a truly custom, resort-grade finish. Unlike plaster or aggregate, this surface is composed entirely of mosiac glass, porcelain, or natural stone tile – each piece installed by hand. The result is a smooth, luminous surface with unmatched longevity and a distinct architectural presence.

- Porcelain Or Stone Tile

Full tiling is priced per square foot and varies significantly based on material and pattern complexity. Typical upgrade range $20,000 – $50,000
Coping Upgrades
All PoolTech pools include standard coping valued up to $10.00 per linear foot, typically using travertine or marble and timeless tones. For clients who want to upgrade their pool’s perimeter detail, we offer several elegant options that enhance both style and precision.
- 45° Knife-edge Coping
Clean, seamless angles for a refined, contemporary edge – especially effective on modern or geometric designs.
Upgrade Cost: An Additional $30 – $40 per linear ft
- Oversized or Custom Profile Stones
Upgrade to oversized or custom-profile coping stones, such as full bullnose or sculpted edge designs, for a seamless, modern aesthetic.
Upgrade Cost: An Additional $25 – $40 per linear ft
- Exotic Stone Selections
Select from exotic imported stones-including black basalt, coral stone, or quartzite-for a distinct architectural statement and refined finish.
